As we hope you have seen so far, here at EWA we simply look at recruitment differently!

Apart from using a very different approach when identifying and approaching talented people, we also assess them based on very different criteria from other operators in our field.

We have named this approach “Values-based Recruitment” and we believe the conscious application of this concept is unique within the industry.

The founding principle behind VBR is that once an appropriate level of technical competence is achieved, the real success of an individual, and hence the value they add to our clients, is almost exclusively determined by their motivation, integrity, interpersonal skills, work ethic, ambition and determination to succeed

Has it been their technical ability, or have they possessed more of the traits mentioned above than their peers?

At EWA we define these factors as an individual’s Core Values, and by thoroughly assessing these core values using a range of professionally-trained interview techniques and psychological models, and then closely matching them to our client’s culture and vision, we find the recruitment process to be far more efficient, the candidate’s performance significantly better once employed and retention rates to be drastically improved.

This is a world apart from “key-word matching” on a CV that typifies much of the recruitment industry, and the difference in the results is remarkable.
